Senior Refrigeration AC Service Technician

Position

Senior Refrigeration AC Service Technician – base salary £55k (approx; £48k–£55k), 37hrs per week, £5k bonus (quarterly), company car (no weekend rota).

Milton Keynes and Northampton sites. The successful candidate should be within a reasonable commuting distance.

Commercial HVAC, air conditioning, refrigeration, VRV/VRF, chillers, heat pumps, refrigerated circuits, refrigerant circuits, refrigeration cycle troubleshooting.

Level3 refrigeration and air‑conditioning, FGAS
2079 and hydrocarbons qualification, small commercial refrigeration and air‑conditioning experience.

Lead the main two static sites in Milton Keynes and Northampton and manage the site‑based/static refrigeration and air‑conditioning service engineers. Provide higher‑level technical oversight on complex issues as they arise on site.

Extensive hands‑on experience servicing and troubleshooting HVAC systems, especially refrigeration circuits. Highly capable of fault finding and fixing. F‑Gas
2079 CAT1 and hydrocarbon, refrigeration and air‑conditioning qualifications/certifications (Level2 or Level3) and manufacturer training (e.g., VRV/VRF servicing and fault finding) preferred. Advantageous experience with manufacturer software maintenance tools. Excellent teamwork and communication skills for client‑facing and regional team collaboration to resolve faults quickly and effectively.

A large national mechanical and electrical (M&E) provider with a national team of refrigeration service engineers, HVAC service engineers and air‑conditioning service engineers ranging from senior to supervisor and technician levels. The company has long‑established experience and excellent morale, and is expanding its main Midlands site contracts.
