Service Technician

We are working on behalf of our client, a reputable main dealer in Milton Keynes, to recruit a Service Technician. This position offers an excellent opportunity for skilled and experienced Vehicle Technicians seeking career advancement, competitive earnings, and ongoing professional development.

Basic salary up to £37,000, dependent on experience and qualifications

Duties of the Service Technician:

Servicing and repairing a wide range of vehicles
Conducting diagnostics, fault finding, and warranty repairs
Completing routine maintenance tasks such as oil services, brake work, and cambelt replacements
Performing Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs)
Accurately completing job cards and service documentation
Working efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
Ensuring a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Collaborating with the workshop team to meet productivity and quality targets

Requirements of the Service Technician:

A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment
Strong diagnostic and servicing skills
Positive attitude and excellent team working abilities
Commitment to delivering high-quality work and customer service
MOT licence would be advantageous; training can be provided
Full UK driving licence
