Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting for the position of Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established independent garage located in Milton Keynes. As a Vehicle Technician, the successful Vehicle Technician will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service standard and operational excellence.

Benefits:

Basic salary up to £45,760 (equivalent to up to £22 per hour)
Overtime paid at double rate (£44 per hour) in 15-minute increments

Work hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Optional overtime available

Duties:

Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including high-end models
Carry out servicing, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs to the highest standards
Maintain accurate records of vehicle work and communicate effectively with customers
Assist in diagnosing complex vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools
Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed
Ensure workshop safety standards are consistently met
Contribute to a team-oriented environment focused on customer satisfaction and technical excellence

Requirements:

Recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent certification
Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician, ideally with high-end or German marques
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Proactive, positive attitude, and excellent team working skills
Willingness to stay current with industry innovations and advancements
Passion for delivering a premium customer experience
Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment and meet deadlines
