Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + £6,000 Car Allowance + Bonus

Location: South of England (South London/Surrey/Kent/Sussex)

About the role

I'm working closely with a market-leading organisation that specialises in the bespoke design, manufacturing, and installation of anti-ligature door systems for hospitals and secure facilities across the world, in support of their search for a Project Manager in the South of England.

You’ll coordinate and deliver multiple manufacturing and installation projects for various regional NHS Trusts, ensuring they run to scope, time frames, and quality standards. Working closely with sales, operations, production, logistics, and installation teams, you’ll keep projects on track, manage client communication, and ensure every installation meets the highest standards.

Please note, this is a hybrid position, with the expectation for weekly travel to client sites alongside working from home. A full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of projects from order confirmation through manufacturing, delivery, installation, and final sign off.
  • Coordinate technical details with production, ensuring anti-ligature door systems are built to spec, fully assembled, and meet strict quality requirements.
  • Work closely with install teams to plan site access, schedule works, and ensure safe, efficient installation in live healthcare environments.
  • Manage subcontractors onsite and oversee benchmark installs, ensure compliance with standards, and organise remedial actions where needed.
  • Hold regular progress meetings with NHS clients, providing clear updates, managing expectations, and resolving issues quickly.
  • Review drawings, elevations, and architectural information to ensure accuracy before production and installation.
  • Maintain tight control of timelines, manufacturing lead times, and logistics planning to keep projects on track.
Requirements
  • Strong project/contract management experience in door/window manufacturing, construction products, or installation-led environments. Ideally, within a healthcare setting.
  • Highly organised and able to juggle multiple live projects, manage lead times, and maintain tight project controls.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with NHS clients, contractors, installers, and internal teams
  • Strong understanding of how products move from design and production through to site installation.
  • Comfortable with coordinating subcontractors and ensuring high installation standards on site.
  • Proficient with Excel, Smartsheet, Salesforce, or similar tools.
  • Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
