CRS is recruiting a Field Servicing Engineer to complete planned servicing and inspections on telehandlers and associated material-handling equipment at customer sites.
This is a scheduled servicing role, not a reactive field-service or general maintenance position.
Most work involves routine servicing designed to improve equipment reliability and prevent breakdowns. Basic safety-critical repairs may be required when defects are identified during an inspection.
Candidates based around Oxford, Northampton, Bedford and Luton will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities for Field Servicing Engineer:- Complete planned servicing and inspections on telehandlers, attachments and related equipment
- Manage van stock and ensure the correct parts are available
- Record work, findings and photographs accurately using a PDA or tablet
- Liaise with the service desk and area controller
- Travel for training or operational support, including occasional overnight stays
- Practical mechanical and electrical skills
- Experience servicing or inspecting telehandlers, forklifts, plant, agricultural machinery or similar equipment
- Ability to identify equipment defects and safety hazards
- Full UK driving licence
- Good organisation and time-management skills
- Flexible regarding additional hours, travel and occasional overnight stays
Product and role training will be provided where required.
