Fire Communication Project Manager

Lead transformative fire communications projects with the Town of Milton, Ontario. Utilize your project management expertise to modernize facilities while engaging community partners and third-party vendors.

In this contract role, you will report to the Manager of Digital Transformation and oversee a portfolio of modernization initiatives. With a focus on implementing cutting-edge fire communications technologies like Computer Aided Dispatch and Records Management Systems, this position blends change management and business analysis. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to ensure operational needs align with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead transition to modernized fire communications technologies

• Manage procurement and implementation of fire communication systems

• Develop capital and operating budget forecasts

• Gather requirements for compliant fire communications solutions

• Serve as primary contact for external project stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum five years in senior management, emergency communication

• Post-secondary diploma in Business or Public Administration

• Eight years in Fire Services management preferred

• Knowledge of NENA i3 NG911 architecture

• Valid Class 'G' Ontario driver's license
