Be a key player at Arts Milton as our Treasurer, contributing to the financial management of this nonprofit organization. Ideal for those with bookkeeping or accounting backgrounds.
The Treasurer manages financial transactions and ensures that Arts Milton adheres to accountability standards. With your background in finance and bookkeeping, you will support the Board of Directors and external accountants to maintain financial health and transparency. Approximately 5 to 10 hours monthly will be required, depending on the season.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise all financial transactions
• Maintain thorough and accurate records
• Work with Directors and external accountants
• Promote accountability and transparency in finance
• Review financial records and attend Board meetings
Requirements:
• Background in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Prior experience in nonprofit management is beneficial
• Proficient in Office and Google applications
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Passion for the mission and values of Arts Milton
