About

The Role

Purity Life Health Products LP is seeking a skilled and detail-driven Bilingual Payroll Administrator to join our People & Culture team at our head office in Acton, Ontario. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 200 hourly and salaried employees, while ensuring full compliance with payroll legislation across multiple provinces. This position is ideal for a payroll professional who values precision, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process full-cycle bi-weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees using Pay Works
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and benefit deductions
  • Prepare, reconcile, and submit statutory filings and reports, including multi-province remittances, ROEs, year-end T4/T4A, T2200s, Quebec RL-1s, and WSIB/WCB reporting
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with Canadian payroll legislation, employment standards, and internal policies
  • Provide payroll backup support for Purity Grocery during vacation and sick coverage, including occasional travel as required
  • Assist with month-end payroll reporting and reconciliations
  • Contribute to People & Culture initiatives and provide ad hoc support as required
Qualifications & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payroll administration
  • Strong working knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, taxation, and statutory requirements across multiple provinces
  • Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation from the National Payroll Institute (required or actively in progress)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and payroll/HRIS systems
  • Bilingual (French) considered a definite asset
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

    Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
