Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Electrician to join one of our large clients in the automotive industry. Electricians are responsible for safely troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Day to day, this includes responding to equipment breakdowns, performing preventative maintenance, and supporting minor improvement projects across automated and manual processes. The role involves reading and interpreting electrical schematics and prints, basic PLC troubleshooting (Siemens or Allen Bradley), and working with equipment such as stamping presses, robotics, welders, and pneumatic systems.
In addition, the Electrician supports continuous improvement initiatives, maintains solid safety standards, and may assist in building new equipment and training apprentices as needed.
- Certified Electrician 442A or 309A
- 3-5 years Electrician Experience
- PLC Experience/Exposure, Siemens or Allan Bradley
- Experience with automated and manual manufacturing processes
- Strong experience troubleshooting, working with schematics and prints
- Formal apprenticeship / education
- Automotive manufacturing
- Experience with Stamping, Robotics and Pneumatics preferred
$95,/year. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
