Electrician Position Shop

A Milton-based residential and light-commercial electrical shop is hiring a 309A Licensed Journeyman Electrician. This is an opportunity to manage installations and take ownership of projects.

In this role, you will lead various electrical installations, including wiring and troubleshooting. A strong command of prints and the Ontario Electrical Safety Code will be essential, and you'll also play a vital role in mentoring apprentices and keeping projects compliant. Your meticulous documentation will support accurate billing and project tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct installations for residential and light-commercial projects

• Read prints and develop work plans on-site

• Ensure compliance with the OESC and manage ESA permits

• Maintain job documentation and time tracking for billing

• Mentor apprentices during installations

Requirements:

• Ontario 309A Certificate of Qualification

• Knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code

• Ability to read single-line diagrams

• Clean G-class driver's license required

• Current certification in Working at Heights
