Halton Hills Hydro is a unionized electric distribution utility serving approximately 23,000 customers. We seek a motivated Journeyperson Powerline Technician, reporting to the Operations Manager, to join our team. You’ll perform live line work, manage ESA permits, and troubleshoot electrical issues while adhering to strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and maintain electrical distribution systems
• Perform live line work on high voltage lines
• Complete service orders within time limits
• Manage necessary permits and reports
• Follow company safety policies faithfully
Requirements:
• Certified as a Journeyperson Powerline Technician
• In-depth knowledge of overhead and underground power lines
• Excellent safety record and mechanical aptitude
• Current First Aid, CPR, and WHMIS certificates
• Valid driver's license Class “DZ” in good standing
