In this Loader role, you will report to the Team Leader and play a vital part in transporting steel for various commercial and industrial projects. Key responsibilities include building loads, moving materials using cranes, and adhering to safety standards. You will also match paperwork with the Bill of Lading, hence accuracy is essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify pieces based on load summaries
• Rig and hoist materials onto the trailer
• Apply dunnage for load security
• Ensure paperwork accuracy for shipments
• Follow safety practices and wear appropriate PPE
Requirements:
• Experience operating overhead cranes
• Knowledge of transportation and load building
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with accurate recordkeeping
• Ability to manage changing priorities
