Your role will involve operating various machinery and performing essential maintenance tasks.
This full-time position requires expertise in operating heavy equipment and a commitment to safety. You will handle waste transportation, snow clearing, and routine road maintenance duties. Applicants should have solid experience and an “AZ” driving license. Your contributions will be vital to the efficient operation of city services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Haul waste to the landfill using a truck and trailer
• Operate heavy machinery, including loaders and dozers
• Perform pre-operational equipment checks and minor servicing
• Complete scheduled road maintenance tasks
• Collaborate with other operators during equipment tasks
Requirements:
• Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of heavy equipment operation experience
• Valid “AZ” Ontario Driver’s License
• Knowledge of road maintenance and safety protocols
• Ability to follow instructions and work as a team
