Southern Delaware Therapeutic Riding is seeking a creative, mission‑driven professional to lead donor engagement, digital strategy, and community outreach. This full‑time Director role is a key partner to the Executive Director, helping expand SDTR’s donor base, strengthen community partnerships, and elevate the visibility of our equine‑assisted programs.

Key strengths we’re looking for:
  • Digital marketing, social media, and email campaigns
  • Strong writing, organization, and creative initiative
  • If you’re passionate about improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and other challenges through equine‑assisted services, we’d love to connect.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in donor development, fundraising, communications, or social media marketing (nonprofit experience preferred).
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Proficiency with social media scheduling tools, photo/video editing, and donor management software/CRMs.
  • Communication: Exceptional writing, digital storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Traits: A creative, self‑motivated starter who is highly organized, possesses strong time‑management skills, and maintains a "donor and volunteer service" mentality.
  • Mission-Driven: A genuine passion for SDTR's mission to improve the physical and emotional well‑being of individuals living with disabilities through equine‑assisted therapy.
