We are currently hiring a part‑time shopkeeper in Milton, DE.
Present the shop in a friendly, inviting, and organized manner; provide the Dogfish experience to guests on the go; help run the store by maintaining adequate stock levels and managing the payment process.
What You’ll Brew- Ensure superb service to customers through prompt, friendly, and accurate processing of merchandise sales; verify that buyers of alcohol to‑go are legal.
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of our merchandise, beer, and spirits to educate and provide the Dogfish experience to customers.
- Properly manage the charging and payment process to ensure accurate billing of customers.
- Answer phones and keep the store neat, well‑stocked, and ready for sale.
- Open and close the store and perform all related duties.
- Assist the Lead Shopkeeper with promotions, merchandising, store displays, and other initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of customer service experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
Level: 10
In accordance with pay‑transparency law, the pay rate for this role (if hired) is $16.50 per hour. Where a person starts within this range depends on their experience, skillset, and location.
