Job Description

We are currently hiring a part‑time Shopkeeper in Milton, DE.

Presents the shop in a friendly, inviting, and organized manner. Provides the Dogfish experience to guests on the go. Helps run the store: maintaining adequate stock levels and managing the payment process.

• Ensures superb service to customers through the prompt, friendly, and accurate processing of merchandise sales; verifies that buyers of alcohol to‑go are legal.
• Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of our merchandise, beer, and spirits to educate and provide the Dogfish experience to customers.
• Properly manages the charging and payment process to ensure accurate charging/billing of customers.
• Answers phones and maintains the store in a neat, well‑stocked, and ready‑for‑sale condition.
• Opens and closes the store and performs all related duties.
• Assists Lead Shopkeeper on execution of promotions, merchandising, store displays, and other initiatives.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

In accordance with pay transparency law, the pay rate for this role if hired is $16.50 per hour. However, where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location.
