- Set, level, brace, and strip forms.
- Prepare subgrade and grade stone before concrete placement.
- Install, position, and tie reinforcing steel and wire mesh.
- Assist with footings, foundations, structural slabs, loading areas, ADA ramps, and other concrete installations.
- Read basic construction drawings, elevations, dimensions, and project specifications.
- Check forms, reinforcement, grade, and elevations before concrete placement.
- Apply curing compounds and protective measures as required.
- Repair, patch, and correct concrete surfaces when needed.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and field equipment.
- Work effectively around concrete trucks, pumps, excavation equipment, and active commercial jobsites.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and crew members throughout each phase of the project.

- Experience operating walk-behind power trowels.
- Ability to pull a screed board and establish proper grade.

- Knowledge of concrete placement, floating, edging, troweling, broom finishing, and curing.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors and in changing weather conditions.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and jobsite instructions.
- Reliable attendance and transportation to the company shop or assigned project location.
- Ability to communicate effectively enough to work safely and follow project requirements.
