Senior Member Advisor

The starting wage for this role is $24.15 per hour.

Dedicated to enhancing lives in a universal service retail environment with cross‑functional responsibilities in both teller and advanced member service capacities. Consistently uncovers members’ needs, offers appropriate solutions, and provides accurate resolution to inquiries and concerns. Acts as mentor to new teammates.

• Processes wide variety of financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers and check cashing.
• Uncovers members’ needs and recommends solutions to improve financial well‑being using a consultative approach.
• Conducts all member service functions including consumer accounts, account maintenance, business accounts and loans (unsecured and collateralized).
• Proactively educates members on emerging and existing self‑serve technology and digital solutions such as mobile/online banking, bill pay, remote deposit capture, ITM services.
• Ensures appropriate records are maintained and required reports prepared.
• Performs branch‑specific functions such as end‑of‑day balancing and night drop.
• Recognizes referral opportunities and refers members to internal partners for specialized services such as investments, mortgage or commercial lending.
• Supports new teammates and may review high‑risk transactions for override authority.
• Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Three to five years of relevant experience, including financial institution experience in member service or cash operations, or comparable experience in cash handling, customer service, or sales.
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Registered as an active Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) on the NMLS site; renew registration annually.
• Strong interpersonal skills: trust, credibility, diplomacy; ability to handle sensitive, confidential conversations.
• Thrives in fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment; strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; delivers exceptional member service.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
