People Ready of Fort Walton Beach, FL is now hiring Custodians in Milton, FL! As a Custodian, you will perform basic cleaning, sanitation, and minor maintenance of an assigned building and grounds.

The pay rate for this job is $13 - $15 / hour*

• Ensure front office areas, offices, and restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and properly stocked
• Clean and maintain the breakroom daily, including mopping floors and wiping down tables, counters, appliances, and other surfaces
• Clean out and sanitize refrigerators every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday
• Clean, sanitize, mop, and restock all restrooms in each building on a daily basis
• Wipe down and disinfect walls, doors, and doorknobs throughout all buildings daily
• Clean and sanitize employee time clocks daily
• Sweep all buildings daily using designated cleaning equipment
• Clean interior windows, glass surfaces, and blinds on a weekly basis
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, hallways, and work spaces
• Report maintenance, safety, or supply issues to management promptly
• Follow all company safety policies, sanitation procedures, and quality standards
• Ensure adequate inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed
• Perform additional housekeeping and janitorial duties as assigned

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day), 2nd Shift (Evening) and Weekends

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready
• Previous experience required
• Work frequently with cleaning chemicals
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to push, pull, and move up to 50 lbs
• Background check and drug screening required
