Responsibilities:
The role of the Rebar Fabricator is to drive positive results in the Production Department to meet all NRF Division goals and continuously build a world‑class rebar fabrication facility to serve Nucor's customers. This will include, but is not limited to:

• Operate all fabrication and material handling equipment safely and effectively.
• Cut, bend, thread, and maneuver concrete reinforcing bar using equipment such as overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Maintain cleanliness and the appearance of the NRF – Milton facility.
• Execute projects to completion.
• Assist Production Leads and supervisors as needed.
• Perform any other tasks assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work unplanned, unscheduled overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work in extreme conditions (hot, cold, rainy weather, dusty conditions, fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment).
• Fundamental computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Self‑starting, positive problem‑solver who is proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement; energetic with initiative and enthusiasm that motivates others; experience operating mobile equipment (forklift/overhead crane) or equivalent; prior fabrication experience.
