Quality Control Technicians And Quality Control Inspectors

Now hiring Quality Control Technicians and Quality Control Inspectors to work at a cable manufacturing company in Milton, FL. We are an ISO-9001 Certified OEM manufacturer. We are hiring Quality Control Technicians to work on the production line and Knowledgeable & Experienced Quality Control Inspectors to maintain quality and integrity. Both positions will report to the Quality Assurance Manager. The selected individual/s will be part of a fast paced & rapidly growing global manufacturer.

Typical duties include performing the daily inspections of all incoming materials, in-process materials, final assembly materials, as well as completing all necessary reports.

Competencies &

Skills:

• Must be able to read basic electrical drawings and/or assembly drawings.
• Must be able to use a variety of measurement equipment such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and micrometers (in both Metric and Standard units of measure).
• Must be proficient with computers.
• Previous experience w/ wire, cable, wire harnesses, elec. assembly/testing is PREFERRED.
• Previous ISO-9001 (or comparable QMS experience) is PREFERRED.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming inspection on specific products identified by management as critical.
• Perform daily in-process inspection.
• Perform basic lab tests on random samples of incoming materials for lab testing as required by management.
• Perform daily finished goods inspection
• Perform equipment calibrations as required.
• Complete all documentation as it relates to the daily inspection process or lab test.
• Assist in the processing of Returned Goods for the field and issue appropriate reports.
• Other duties as deemed appropriate by management.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience with reading/interpreting basic electrical assembly drawings.
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with computers AND proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Minimum of 1-Year of Quality Control experience is preferred but NOT required.

Education:

High school Diploma (or equivalent) is required. Pay:
Starts at: $15/hr.

--- $18/hr. (Depending on the position selected for Technician

- Inspector)

Schedule:

Full-Time --- All shifts are 12-hr's Day Shift = 7:30am - 7:30pm Night Shift = 7:30pm - 7:30am
*** Expect to work 60+ hours a week
*** All hours worked over 40 hours will be paid at Time-and-a-half

Requirements:

• Must have Steel-toed boots/shoes.
• Must have reliable transportation to Milton FL.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must complete a pre-employment (level
  1) background check.
