Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14 - $18 / hour
* What you'll be doing as a Production Operator:

Operator will operate the Take-Up machine in a Cable Manufacturing facility.

Properly set-up the Take-Up machine independently and monitor the product consistently, as it is being spooled onto the reel.

Must have good mechanical skills with the ability to handle and move heavy reels and products to designated areas.

Properly maintain a consistent log of production and quality, per Gulf Cable systems.

Properly repair any discrepancies within the line while spooling onto the reel.

Ensure all safety procedures and rules including safe material handling are followed.

Must immediately report quality issues to the Supervisor, Department Manager or Lead.

Properly load and unload finished goods in designated areas.

Assist with any other job duties that are assigned

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 3rd Shift (Night), Weekends

Job requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready High  school or equivalent (Preferred)
Must be able to stand for long periods of time Background check and drug test required
