Assembly Worker People Ready  of Fort Walton Beach, FL is now hiring Assembly Workers in Milton, FL! The primary focus of this position is to build both steel and wooden reels that vary in size. Manufactured underground cable will be placed on the reel to be shipped to customer. This position will have on the job training as an essential process to ensure the quality of the cable for the delivery to our customers

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $14 - $16 / hour
* What you'll be doing as an Assembly Worker:

Operate and use hand tools and power tools to assemble steel and wooden reels of various sizes

Handle, move, and replace heavy reels upon product completion

Follow all company safety procedures, policies, and safe material-handling practices

Promptly report quality concerns or production issues to the Supervisor, Department Manager, or Team Lead Load and unload raw materials and finished products into designated storage and staging areas

Safely lift and carry materials weighing 50 lbs. or more Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Available shifts:

Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day), 3rd Shift (Night), Weekends

Job requirements:

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready High  school diploma or equivalent preferred

Construction or related industrial/manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to stand, lift and bend frequently

Ability to work 8 to 12-hour shifts

Background check and Drug test required
