Exciting Full‑Time Family Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in Milton, FL
! Main Street Family Care is growing and we are hiring an energetic, friendly Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our full‑time team. You will provide patient‑focused care to help people feel better and help keep urgent and primary care on the front lines. The ideal applicant leads a small team in a high‑volume, fast‑paced urgent care environment.
We support new graduates and experienced practitioners alike. After an on‑site orientation and training shifts with seasoned providers, we provide follow‑up support through mentoring, a complimentary pediatric urgent‑care CE course, and an NP on‑call to guide clinical decision‑making. This investment is made because we believe in your success.
Utilise your full scope of practice. As a FNP, you treat patients across all age groups—from newborns to geriatrics—allowing you to sharpen skills and remain marketable for future career growth.
Lead your team. You are a medical provider who devises best‑practice protocols, supports medical assistants, and models professional excellence.
Support rural communities. Main Street clinics operate 362 days a year, providing vital care and qualifying for state‑funded tuition or loan reimbursement grants to help you benefit from these grants.
Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
- Perform minor procedures such as toenail removal and foreign object removal
- Suture and splint wounds
- Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management
- Review x‑rays (with radiologist over‑read)
- Provide general dermatology and eye problem assessments
- Interpret EKGs and manage emergencies
- Apply general gynecological expertise
- Treat children of all ages
- Handle occupational medicine duties
- Conduct telemedicine visits
Main Street Clinic Hours
- Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday and Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend.
- Week 1:
Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON). - Week 2:
Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).
- Family Nurse Practitioner Board Certification required
- MSN or higher education required (new graduates welcome)
- DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified (cost covered)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred
