Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Active RN license and current BLS/ACLS certification
• Minimum 2 years recent CVOR (open heart) and vascular surgery experience
• RNFA credentials strongly preferred
• Proficiency in circulating and scrubbing cardiovascular cases
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and adaptability skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care throughout all phases of open heart and vascular surgical procedures
• Maintain strict aseptic technique and monitor patient safety throughout
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia teams, and specialized surgical staff
• Preoperative patient assessment, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative evaluation
• Assist in staff training, policy compliance, and maintaining quality standards
