As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills while building retailer relationships. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.
Salary and Schedule Details- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00 - $17.00 depending on skills and experience.
- Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom courses.

. - Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores (grocery, drug, department, and mass retailers). The position consists of three major components:
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Use Hallmark’s mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory within and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for daily tasks, communication with supervisors, time reporting, feedback, and survey completion. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential. You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
- Holiday support: During peak seasons (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), additional days and extended hours may be required, including weekends.
- Department resets: Occasionally, you may join a team for installations and other tasks such as building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Advance notice is usually two weeks; assignments may include evenings or weekends.
- Team collaboration: You are part of Hallmark’s field organization network, supporting other merchandisers as needed in their territories.
This role is physically demanding. You will work on the sales floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, climb stairs, and use stair ladders throughout the workday.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- Proficient with a digital handheld device for reading documents and interpreting information.
- Access to Wi‑Fi and the internet.
- Reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
