s for a cable manufacturing company in Milton, FL. We provide integral components for solar and wind farm development as well as electrical cabling for key industrial markets including Oil & Gas, Communications, and Irrigation. We are looking for experienced Industrial Electrician
s for both DAY shift and NIGHT shift to undertake a variety of tasks related to setting up and maintaining electrical infrastructure. Responsibilities include installing electrical wiring in buildings and poles, troubleshooting malfunctions, and repairing various appliances. Due to the high-risk nature of this job, electricians must be safety-focused and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate should have experience with different electrical devices and systems.
The goal is to produce and maintain well-functioning electrical connections to minimize accidents and maximize electricity usability across facilities.
- Execute plans of electrical wiring for lighting, intercom, and other electrical systems.
- Install electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipment for alarm and other systems.
- Install safety and distribution components (e.g., switches, circuit-breaker panels, etc.).
- Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks, ensuring component compatibility.
- Prepare and assemble conduits, and connect wiring through them.
- Inspect and replace old wiring and insulated cables; clean circuits to prevent breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units.
- Proven experience as an electrician.
- Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and/or blueprints.
- Ability to use electrical hand tools (e.g., wire-strippers, voltmeter).
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long and overnight shifts.
- High school Diploma (or equivalent) preferred but not required.
- Diploma in relevant vocational training or successful completion of an electrician apprenticeship.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with 480 V.
- At least 1 year of industrial electrical experience preferred but not required.
- Driver's license preferred but not required.
Starts at: $21/hr — $27/hr (depends on experience).
ScheduleFull-time. All shifts are 12 hours:
Day shift 7:30am–7:30pm;
Night shift 7:30pm–7:30am. Expect to work 60+ hours per week. Hours over 40 are paid at time-and-a-half.
- Steel-toed boots/shoes required.
- Reliable transportation to Milton, FL required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
- Must complete a pre-employment (level
1) background check.
