Crane Operator Needed for an upcoming Regional Water project. Controls heavy hoisting machinery to lift, move, and position massive loads across manufacturing facilities, construction sites, or shipping yards. They are responsible for conducting rigorous safety inspections, communicating with ground crews via hand signals or radios, and ensuring absolute precision during material transport.

$30 per hour

• Equipment Operation:
  Maneuver levers, pedals, and buttons to operate various crane types (e.g., overhead, mobile, or tower cranes) safely and efficiently.
• Safety Inspections:
  Conduct daily pre- and post-operation checks of the crane’s mechanics, hydraulic systems, and wire ropes to prevent equipment failure.
• Load Management:
  Read load charts, calculate weights, and ensure the load is properly rigged, balanced, and within the crane’s rated capacity.
• Communication:
  Coordinate seamlessly with ground crews, riggers, and signal persons via hand signals or two-way radios to ensure precise placement of materials.
• Maintenance:
  Perform routine preventative maintenance (lubricating, cleaning) and minor field repairs to keep machinery in optimal working condition.
• Record Keeping:
  Log all crane operations, lift weights, and maintenance activities according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
