The Inventory Clerk is a key member of the Warehouse Operations team responsible for all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, shipping, accounting for movement and shrinkage.
Essentialfunctions
- Ensure proper product rotation.
- Enter and maintain all inventory transactions.
- Check incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy.
- Verify BOLs, inventory transaction reports, and loading reports for accuracy.
- Verify BOLs against billings.
- Manage inventory transfers between warehouses.
- Review product for date coding.
- Take daily inventory count and process to host system.
- Resolve any discrepancies with proper parties.
- Check all built pallets prior to loading on delivery vehicles.
- Calculate and record inventory transactions dealing with product rework.
- Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and observing safety rules.
- Complete other activities assigned by supervisor.
- Maintain a high level of ethical and moral conduct while at work or in attendance of any off‑site function during work hours or after work hours while representing the Buffalo Rock Company.
- Engage in continuous self‑improvement through the knowledge and use of all Buffalo Rock provided training, either web‑based, in‑house, or any other provided method. Complete assigned training curriculum, including but not limited to online and/or facilitated training.
- Ensure that every reasonable precaution is taken to protect the Company from possible damages, theft, or other liabilities.

Work environmentWorking conditions will be inside and outside where temperatures will vary from extreme heat to extreme cold, working in rain or snow, for extended periods.
Physical demandsThe position requires repeated standing, walking, stooping, reaching and climbing, with occasional or continuous need to lift or carry up to 51–100 lbs. It also involves speaking and manual manipulation. All tasks must be completed in a fast‑paced and warm environment, particularly during summer months.
