Buffalo Rock is a beverage bottler with a long history in Birmingham, AL. The Inventory Clerk is a key member of the Warehouse Operations team responsible for all aspects of inventory control, including receiving, shipping, accounting for movement and shrinkage.
Responsibilities- Enter and maintain all inventory transactions.
- Check incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy.
- Verify BOLs, inventory transaction reports, and loading reports for accuracy.
- Verify BOLs against billings.
- Manage inventory transfers between warehouses.
- Review product for date coding.
- Take daily inventory counts and process to host system.
- Resolve discrepancies with proper parties.
- Check all built pallets prior to loading on delivery vehicles.
- Calculate and record inventory transactions dealing with product rework.
- Responsible for wearing all assigned safety equipment and observing safety rules.
- Complete other activities assigned by supervisor.
- Exhibit a high level of ethical conduct while at work or in attendance of any off-site function during work hours or after hours while representing Buffalo Rock.
- Engage in continuous self-improvement through Buffalo Rock training (web-based, in-house, or other methods) and complete assigned curriculum.
- Protect the company from damages, theft, or other liabilities; protect the safety of employees, customers, and property.

- Education:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate);
Required - Experience:

- Certifications and Licenses: Must be forklift certified through Buffalo Rock.
- Other Requirements: Basic knowledge of equipment and tools needed to fulfill essential tasks.
Working conditions are inside and outside with temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold, including rain or snow, for extended periods.
