Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Controller to join our team in the Accounting + Finance industry. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing organization, where you will play a significant role in the financial management of the company. As a Permanent Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's financial and accounting functions, including regulatory compliance, management of internal controls, financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach.

• Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
• Additional controller duties as necessary.

• Minimum of 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience. (Marketing industry experience a plus)
• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
• Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Experience with EFI and PACER e-filing systems is preferred
• Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
• Must have experience in creating financial statements. Must have excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
