Thacher Montessori School is seeking an enthusiastic, student-centered Part‑Time Physical Education Teacher to provide physical education instruction to Elementary and Middle School students during the academic year.

Schedule: Approximately 15 hours per week
Compensation: $40‑$50 per hour, commensurate with experience

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science, Education, or related field (preferred)
• Experience teaching and/or coaching school-aged children
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A warm, energetic, and engaging personality
• An appreciation for child‑centered education

• Planning and leading age‑appropriate physical education classes
• Promoting physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy habits
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
• Maintaining equipment and ensuring the safe use of activity spaces
• Collaborating with faculty and administration as needed
