We're looking for EKG Technicians for an immediate travel opening in Milton, MA. The right EKG Technician should have 1 year of experience. Read below for more requirements.

As an EKG Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests to assess the heart's electrical activity and support physicians in identifying cardiovascular conditions. You'll work in hospital or clinical settings, often directly with patients, to ensure accurate and high-quality test results.

As an EKG Technician, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Prepare patients for EKG procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort
• Attach electrodes to the appropriate body areas and operate EKG equipment
• Monitor and record heart activity using EKG, Holter monitors, or stress testing systems
• Recognize and report abnormal heart rhythms or artifacts in tracings
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of results
• Ensure equipment is functioning properly and report any malfunctions
• Clean and store equipment according to infection control protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff as needed
• Assist with patient transport and positioning when required
• Follow all safety, infection control, and facility policies

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an EKG Technician. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification. CET or CCT certification preferred.

EKG Technicians should be able to stand or walk for long periods, work well under pressure, and possess excellent attention to detail and interpersonal communication skills.
