Schedule- Four 9‑hour shifts, rotating schedule
- Shift times: 7:00a.m.‑4:30p.m. and 7:30a.m.‑5:00p.m.
- Rotating call included
The Endoscopy Department at Milton Hospital is a specialized, fast‑paced clinical environment that plays a vital role in patient care. The unit is organized into three connected areas:
Pre‑Op, Procedure, and Recovery, with most patients moving through all three during their visit. Teamwork, communication, and mutual support are essential for delivering safe, high‑quality care.
- Deliver patient care across pre‑procedure, procedural, and recovery phases
- Safely assist and transport patients, including those under sedation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure smooth workflows
- Lead and support an Endoscopy Technician, delegating tasks as needed
- Communicate clearly, accept feedback, and contribute positively to team goals
- Minimum of two years’ medical/surgical experience, outpatient and GI nursing preferred
- Current Massachusetts RN license
- BLS and ACLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- Current IV skills preferred
- Previous endoscopy or critical care experience required
Pay range: $36.00–$90.14 per hour.
The pay range is the base hourly wage. Actual compensation may exceed the base rate based on seniority, education, training, certifications, geographic location, job responsibilities, shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime, and other permissible factors.
