Position: Security Officer Hospital Alarm Patrol

Location: Milton, MA

Work Schedule: Full Time; 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM (Mon‑Fri) & 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Thu‑Fri)

Pay Rate: $18.32 per hour

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing foot traffic, and support a professional presence for patient care areas and other sensitive locations.
• Assist with handling medical facility related calls for service, support de‑escalation when appropriate, and follow post orders for reporting, escalation, and/or emergency notification procedures.

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
