Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting information to appropriate personnel;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions;
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, badge and/or credential checks, and support for restricted-area protocols as directed by site procedures;
Support hospital operations by communicating with staff and/or first responders during medical, behavioral, and facility-related events while following Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines
