Security Guard Hospital Patrol

Position Summary

Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Milton, MA. This role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts when convenient.

Pay Rate: $18.32 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, offering directions and assistance to visitors and/or staff as needed.
• Support a professional environment by reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy concerns, and by following Allied Universal standards and location procedures.

• Must be willing to meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
