Color Coat, Inc., headquartered in West Sacramento, CA, is the largest paint and coatings applicator in the US, serving window and door manufacturers with multiple facilities across the country. We are seeking individuals who want to be a part of our company and grow with us in our Milton, P.A., location. Experience may come from Automotive Collision Repair and Painting – Auto Body Painting
QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have experience with spray painting using HVLP Guns. This task is based in a spray booth. This individual also must withstand a physical evaluation and respiratory test to be considered for this position. You must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

- Learns and understands painting area and equipment
- Follows production schedule for amount of paint needed during the day for painting
- Ensures all mixing supplies needed are available
- Prepares all paint according to paint suppliers' specifications
- Sands and prepares surface for repainting
- Ensures the paint lane is clean
- Keeps all tools, mixing equipment, and mixing area clean
- Fills solvent containers on production floor
- Recognizes color and ensures correct color is used
- Understands assembly and disassembly of paint gun
- Communicates with the manager any issues with paint gun, air supply, paint quality, and paint booth
- Notifies manager when supplies need to be reordered
- Recognizes correct paint color
- Paints samples for every lot of paint opened and adds information on bucket on the back of the sample
- Replaces filters in paint booth and oven as needed and ensures overall cleanliness of paint booth and oven
- Learns paint specifications for different customers, recognizes any issues with preparation, and notifies cleaners of problem
- Paints units using proper technique and follows instructions to ensure proper finish
- Follows safety guidelines and always wears personal protective equipment and ensures proper care of equipment
- Learns and understands mechanics of equipment used
- Replaces brown bag on sprinkler heads
- Follows manager directions
- Maintains productive pace as set by manager
- Works cooperatively with other team members
- Performs other related duties as assigned
