Job Overview

We are seeking an OD Desk Agent to serve as the main contact for Husky's original equipment manufacturer spare parts in North America. The role requires collaborating closely with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate order status, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain high‑quality customer relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain long‑term solid customer relationships with empathy, patience, adaptability, and proactivity.
  • Assist customers over the phone and via email with inquiries related to spare parts sales, including identifying required part numbers, alternative components, available accessories, inventory availability, and lead times.
  • Act as the primary contact for customers and coordinate with project engineers, warehouse, and logistics staff to ensure order status and resolve inquiries.
  • Multitask across multiple systems to support spare parts sales and inquiries, providing product documentation and updates.
  • Serve as a change agent, demonstrating a willingness to learn and improve processes, and provide proactive updates on processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives, identifying, developing, and implementing solutions.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Husky Machine and Mold technology.
  • Support monitoring of team dashboards and daily/weekly team activities to control backlog.
  • Provide global support based on prevailing business initiatives on the quote/order process.
Qualifications
  • Post‑secondary education (college diploma or university degree) preferred, or 3–5 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in customer support via phone and email.
  • Highly proficient in spoken and written English; secondary and tertiary language skills are a strong asset.
  • Ability to work independently in a high‑paced environment and be self‑motivated.
  • Solid technical skills with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Power BI, and Word).
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Professional ability to interact effectively with customers.
  • Availability to support various weekday shifts, weekends, after hours, vacation coverage, and statutory holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in Baan LN and/or Baan 4 or CRM is an asset.
Compensation

Pay Range: $65,000 – $80,000.
