Milton Town School District seeks an energetic, positive, innovative STEAM teacher to join our middle school. Candidates must have middle-level and/or high school experience and be knowledgeable in the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), trauma-informed practices, restorative practices, and able to demonstrate innovative instructional practices.

Candidates must be able to work with a team to develop a STEAM curriculum and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching and learning.

• Vermont Teaching License or equivalent professional endorsements:
  Science, Math, ISTE, or Design and Technology Education (ML 5-9 or 7-12, but willing to get ML endorsement)
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• At least 3 years of relevant teaching experience (science, math or STEM/STEAM)
• Proficient in integrating technology in STEM/STEAM instruction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

• 3 years of experience in STEAM or related disciplines
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Familiarity with restorative practice frameworks
