Manufacturing Technician

Summary of Role

The role involves preparing and performing manual tasks such as inspection and deburring, or operating a CNC machine for drilling, milling, and similar operations within tight tolerances. The incumbent is responsible for producing high‑quality parts by reading and interpreting blueprints.

Salary Range: $23 - $26 per hour

• Set up and maintain tooling in peak condition.
• Understand specifications and desired results by reading mechanical drawings.
• Translate instructions into computer commands for machine operation.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Supervise the machine during operation, making adjustments as needed to achieve the desired result.
• Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with requirements to confirm completion and quality.
• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions; call for repair when necessary.
• Maintain continuity across shifts by documenting and communicating actions taken or required.

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Solid mechanical aptitude.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• Ability to operate and deliver under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solid computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize according to requirements.
• Basic and technical English written, spoken, and understood.
• Ability to work a variety of shifts if required.
• 1–2 years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
