Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostic, mechanical, or electrical repair on fleet assets.
Understand, practice, and maintain proficiency in equipment diagnosis, regulatory compliance (inspections), and preventive maintenance.
Road‑test vehicles to ensure the quality of work and vehicle performance (if holding a valid CDL).
Ability to handle on‑call hours and service tasks.
Able to interact with drivers, customers, vendors, and other employees professionally.
Assume responsibility and ownership of any project assigned, including its clean‑up or other non‑mechanical tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Experience:High school diploma, vocational education degree, or equivalent.
Mechanical repair experience.
Previous brake repair experience.
Ability to lift/lower 50 pounds.
Ability to work with others.
Willing to train if you have a desire to learn or similar experience.

Monday‑Friday 8:00 - 5:00, occasional OT.
One week of on‑call duties per month. (additional on‑call compensation.)
