Fabricator​/Installer

Overview

We are a premier stone fabrication and installation company serving residential and commercial clients across Vermont. From custom granite countertops to quartz vanities and marble accents, we bring top‑tier craftsmanship into our clients’ spaces. We are seeking a detail‑oriented Stone Fabricator / Installer to join our team, working split time between our local fabrication shop and field installations.

In the Shop (Fabrication):

• Read, interpret, and work from digital templates, CAD drawings, and layout specs.
• Cut, shape, and polish natural stone (granite, marble, quartzite) and engineered stone (quartz).
• Safely operate fabrication machinery including bridge saws, CNC machines, edge polishers, and hand tools.
• Inspect slabs for natural defects, seams, or fissures before fabrication begins.
• Back‑polish, miter edges, and cut out precise openings for sinks and cooktops.

On the Job Site (Installation):

• Safely load, secure, and transport heavy, fragile stone slabs to job sites.
• Carry, place, and seamlessly level stone countertops and surfaces in residential and commercial settings.
• Mix, color‑match, and apply epoxy for seams, ensuring a flawless and nearly invisible finish.
• Mount under‑mount sinks securely.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring the installation site is left clean and pristine.

• Experience:
  
  1+ years of experience in stone fabrication or stone installation preferred (willing to train the right candidate with a strong carpentry or masonry background).
• Technical skills:
  Precision measuring skills, familiarity with stone shop machinery, and an artistic eye for stone vein matching.
• Physical stamina:
  Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver heavy stone pieces (often over 75+ lbs) safely using vacuum cups and carts.
• Requirements:
  Valid driver’s license with a clean record to drive company installation vehicles.
