The company is a global distributor, manufacturer, and packager of adhesives used by the cell‑phone, medical device, space/aerospace, and electric vehicle industries. The Corporate Accounting Manager position reports to the corporate headquarters in Germantown, WI and requires a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Corporate Accounting Department and global consolidation to ensure the accuracy of financial information and review, develop and implement accounting procedures.
  • Supervise a team of accounting staff and prepare financial analyses of operations, including interim and final financial statements with supporting schedules.
  • Manage day‑to‑day activities of one or more of the Corporate Accounting sub‑functions.
  • Ensure day‑to‑day accounting and month‑end activities for assigned Corporate and/or Business Unit entity, including close‑out of General Ledger and preparation of reports.
  • Collaborate with global finance teams in consolidating global financial results and prepare both internal and external consolidated financial statements.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining accurate accounting procedures and policies to ensure efficient operation of the accounting department.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Finance and Business Units to keep accounting procedures and policies up‑to‑date with accounting standards and regulations and ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in an Accounting related function.
  • 3+ years of supervisory or management experience.
  • 3+ years in public accounting preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four‑year college in Accounting, Finance or related field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Preferred.
  • Demonstrated integrity, commitment to customer service, quality, collaboration, teamwork, drive, compliance, hard work, discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Very strong business acumen, with ability to build relationships with management and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Experienced with monitoring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures.
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to support multiple simultaneous business initiatives.
  • Very strong communication skills, including up, down, across, within and outside the organization.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across disciplines throughout the entire company.
  • Commitment to personal development, including both team and self.
  • Uses influence to stretch the thinking within the business.
  • Experience with One Stream or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) consolidation software preferred.
  • Travel – Occasional – less than 5%.
