Senior Accountant

Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that's looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 2+ years of experience, organized, and has high attention to detail. The salary for this position is $75K - $95K.

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and enhance internal controls by documenting, improving, and monitoring accounting processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare financial analyses and reporting, including trend and variance analysis with clear commentary for management.
• Participate in internal and external audits, including audit preparation, workpaper creation, cross-functional coordination, and control monitoring.
• Support cross-functional projects focused on operational efficiency, financial reporting enhancements, and system improvements.
• Administer expense reporting and corporate card programs, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reconciliation.

The Senior Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, Manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical and technological skills
