Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in billing, invoicing, and cash applications to support our existing processes and systems while contributing to the efficiency of our accounts receivable operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to manage high-volume invoicing tasks with precision.

Responsibilities:

- Manage daily invoicing operations across multiple revenue streams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

- Handle accounts receivable tasks, including cash applications and commercial collections.

- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Dynamics 365 Business Central to process transactions and maintain records.

- Address manual invoicing needs and provide support for high-volume billing activities.

- Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for improving automation in invoicing processes.

- Implement sales tax calculations using Avalara software to ensure compliance.

- Monitor cash activity and reconcile accounts as needed.

- Deliver consistent and efficient support for existing invoicing processes while adapting to future system needs.

- Prepare reports and documentation related to accounts receivable and billing activities.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or inquiries. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and cash applications.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Dynamics 365 Business Central.

- Solid understanding of commercial collections processes.

- Strong proficiency in handling high-volume invoicing tasks.

- Knowledge of sales tax software such as Avalara.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage manual invoicing processes effectively.

- Strong analytical and organizational skills.

- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
