Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. In this role, you will be responsible for managing high-volume invoicing and billing processes while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to work with established systems and tools, while contributing to potential process improvements over time.

Responsibilities:

- Process and manage high-volume billing and invoicing activities with precision and timeliness.

- Address manual invoicing tasks for revenue streams requiring additional oversight.

- Utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Dynamics 365 Business Central to execute accounts receivable functions.

- Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate application of cash and timely collections.

- Monitor and reconcile cash activity to maintain accurate financial records.

- Work with Avalara sales tax software to ensure compliance in billing and invoicing.

- Provide support in maintaining current processes while identifying opportunities for future automation.

- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies.

- Assist in developing strategies to enhance invoicing efficiency and reduce manual intervention over time. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts receivable, cash applications, and commercial collections.

- Proficiency in billing functions and cash activity management.

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Dynamics 365 Business Central.

- Familiarity with Avalara or similar sales tax software.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume tasks.

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities.

- Effective communication skills for resolving discrepancies and collaborating with stakeholders.

- Ability to adapt to existing processes while supporting future improvement initiatives.
