About RSPRSP, Inc. is a Wisconsin-based manufacturer serving a wide range of customers and product categories. Our work includes injection molding, assembly, packaging, warehousing, order fulfillment, and support for growing consumer product brands, including Best Bee Brothers.
We are looking for a capable, organized, and hands‑on Accounting Manager to help manage our accounting department and support the financial operations of both RSP and Best Bee Brothers. This is an important in‑office role based in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Position OverviewThe Accounting Manager will be responsible for helping manage the day‑to‑day accounting operations of the company, supporting accurate financial reporting, overseeing accounting workflows, and helping ensure the department runs smoothly and on schedule.
This role is ideal for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and the ability to take ownership of recurring accounting processes. The right candidate will be detail‑oriented, organized, comfortable working across multiple entities, and capable of helping guide other members of the accounting team.
The Accounting Manager will work closely with company leadership, including Mike Ryan in a CFO oversight capacity, and will coordinate with the Accounting Director, accounting assistants, and other team members.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and support day‑to‑day accounting operations for RSP and Best Bee Brothers
- Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Help prepare and review financial reports, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, cash application, and related accounting workflows
- Support inventory, cost accounting, manufacturing‑related accounting, and fulfillment‑related financial processes
- Help ensure accounting tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Review work performed by accounting staff and provide guidance as needed
- Coordinate with the Accounting Director and other team members to maintain strong internal accounting processes
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow tracking, and management reporting as needed
- Support payroll‑related accounting and benefits‑related reporting as needed
- Work with outside accountants, tax advisors, banks, vendors, and customers when necessary
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting systems, processes, controls, and documentation
- Help create structure, accountability, and consistency within the accounting department
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling financial and employee information
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- 3–5 years of accounting experience preferred
- Supervisory or team coordination experience is required
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, AP, AR, and financial reporting
- Experience helping with month‑end close processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, inventory, product‑based businesses, or multi‑entity accounting is a plus
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on accounting environment
- Experience with Sage accounting software and ERP systems preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with leadership and team members
- CPA is not required

Compensation and Benefits- Base salary range: $80,000 – $115,000, depending on experience
