Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk
General Office and Office Manager for a family operated Manufacturer. Smaller firm with good long term history and stability.
Reporting to President, the Office Manager would be responsible to manage duties and 1 other office assistant.
Job requires high school graduate and 5+ years of experience.
Perform AR/AP, ledger entries, bill paying.
A variety of clerical and typing duties, some non-routine and others complex in nature.
Typically handles incoming and outgoing company mail, answering incoming calls, filing, ordering of supplies, basic record keeping, some accounting responsibilities, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Use of computer applications for sales order entry.
The ability to create and organize word processing documents and spreadsheets.
Web page content preparation helpful but not necessary.
- AR/AP experience
- Wisconsin Sales and Use Tax
- HR duties including payroll, garnishments, 401K, insurance and flex spending
- Reconcile bank, credit card, invoices and petty cash
- General ledger reconciliation and journal entries
- Assist with monthly, quarterly and year end closing procedures
- Inventory reconciliation
- Compute and file Sales and Use Tax
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
During training-hours are 4 hours/day part-time during training.
Maturity and experience in manufacturing would be a good fit.
3-5 years in Office setting with some AR and AP knowledge.
Office and clerical experience.
School of ‘hard knocks” is appreciated.
