Payroll Tax Analyst

Salary: $95,000 - $100,000

Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Tax Analyst:

  • Manage payroll tax filings and compliance across the United States
  • Register employees and entities in new tax jurisdictions, including high-volume jurisdiction setup activity
  • Perform quarterly and year-end payroll tax reconciliations
  • Partner with third-party tax vendors to resolve filing issues and ensure compliance
  • Develop and implement process improvements, standard operating procedures, and best practices
  • Research payroll tax requirements and support compliance across multiple states and entities

Qualifications for the Payroll Tax Analyst:

  • 5+ years of payroll tax experience
  • Strong multi-state payroll tax experience within a large organization
  • Experience managing payroll tax registrations, filings, and reconciliations
  • Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred
  • Experience with Dayforce, Workday, or similar payroll platforms
